I think that it is important. Flywheel/brake horse power is fine and nice to know what your engine puts out, but I know of cars having a 900hp motor with 750rwhp. So what number really matters?

When people ask me how much power my car has, I respond in accordance to their knowledge of cars...if they don't know shit about cars, I tell them about 530hp. If it's one of my buddies, I tell them rwhp because they understand what that means

I see that too. Alot of people that know nothing about cars always ask about motor hp, not fully understanding the concept of driveline loss..

Depends on what you mean by 8.5psi.
At WOT, my boost starts out at 8 psi and stays there through 5,000-somthing rpm. Then it ramps like a centri to about 11psi. And the higher psi occurs after the engine's hp curve has peaked and is headed back down. So its not fair to compare it to a twin screw that is 11psi across the board. I believe Doug is 5 to 8.5 psi. 5psi through most of the rpm band, up to 8.5psi at redline. Twin-screwers get in a tissy over E-force because often just one psi number is thrown out there when in reality the psi is variable. More like one part twin screw, one part centri. I get 470rwhp on a dyno tune, 450rwhp on JDM's email tune.
