how to "bullet proof" my bottom end..
hey.. im about to buy a supercharger for my 05 GT.... (the whipple supercharger)... ive been reading and found out that my bottom end would be fine untill around 475 hp... im looking to get it up to 500+....
i asked some people and they just said to make my bottom end really strong.... im kind of a noob so can anyone actually explain what i would have to do.. and how much it would cost.. thanks

this basically means pulling the engine out and replacing the crank rods and pistons with usually forged components. D.S.S sells complete short blocks that are not bad for the price. Contact them and they can help you figure out what you need. www.dssracing.com

i would play it safe and buy from VT they have one of the best reputations around for building the mod motors
