C&L Intake Manifold?

I don't know much about when its coming out so I'm asking you guys. Its on preorder on evoperform.com for $800 and $750 on Bamachips.com, so it must be coming soon. I'd like to hear you guys input.

So far we refer to this intake as the phantom intake. Every time they say it is going to be released it gets pushed back. Nobody really knows when it is coming out. Its always just "Soon" or "maybe next month or two" . From what I understand they still are doing R&D.

Or is this the $800.00 for 7RWHP manifold if your NA or maybe not that if you already have CMCV delete plates?

I think the idea behind that intake manifold is that it would help improve flow if you have/add things like heads, cams, displacement, or FI.

All right, I went up for a triple S, and re-read the advertisement in MM&FF. It says nothing about 'coming soon'.

Tried checking their website, but it's down atm.

Many bolt on, cammed guys, will be buying this expecting to gain over 10rwhp...I doubt it does much unless its for a high powered centri or turbo powered stangs

It is just a prediction...our stock intake flows pretty well already

The idea of replacing an intake manifold is to support existing modifications that can utilize higher flow. Things like different heads, bigger valves, nitrous, and FI, will benefit from this intake. It says right on their website that it's not expected to be particularly beneficial for stock applications.

It's no different than changing from a dual plane intake to a single plane intake when you're running a carbureted engine. Putting a high rise or single plane intake on a stock engine would net you nothing.
