Also any wideband recommendations?Thinking about it, i really don't trust the BOOST A PUMP if that switch doesn't respond .I was looking online for a good price setup lets say a gt500 setup.

It's spark blowout. Get a set of Brisk plugs, gap them to .030", and drive on. Trust me. Been there.

I gave up on the HTOs last year, I was dropping plugs left and right. On the Brisks, I have 15000 miles and 45+ passes at the dragstrip this summer and not a hiccup. I got mine from Brenspeed, but I'm not sure if they're the cheapest or not.

I' m waiting for my brisk to arrive today ,the tech said they come gapped at 0.35 but you're suggesting 0.30.What will i need to accurately gap them, also should i use some antiseize compound? How does the car idle and so on a that gap?

spark blow-out

gap down the plugs to .030-.032 and that should do it at that boost level. I had this with my KB on any wicked downshift it would pop a lot. Ht0 at .030 did not completely eliminate it but upgraded aftermarket COPs cured it 100%.

Got the brisk, put them in and so far so good,no popping.Car feels smoother, gas mileage has somewhat improved. So we'll see how long it lasts. The electrode on this plug is huge compared to the hto so hopefully that means a better overall spark.I am so happy the htos came out without incident, only thing is those clips that connect to the coil packs is very fragile and can be easily damaged.Try the Brisk.

Input: I have dealt with KB on several occasions concerning their canned tune...they will point the finger in every direction and do everything in their power to blame someone else for everything that goes wrong with their stuff. My car has NO part-throttle enrichment, going as lean as 16:1 during normal acceleration, I have tried for a long time to get some help with it, even spending a lot of money logging as much info as I could, taking it to the stealership for vacuum tests, checking for hidden codes, sending their "tuner" (POS) back to them for some tweaks, but nothing. I'm making the 4 hour drive (1-way) to get it tuned in April. Mechanically there is nothing wrong with the car, I have a feeeling it's something load-based or something with the TB tuning, but until I get it on a dyno with a live tuner there's no way to know. WOT is fine. I love the blower, but their customer service has been hit or miss, and lately it's been more miss than hit. They said the same thing about my AEM wideband probably reading wrong too. If more than one person is having problems with the tunes it seems to me like the staff at KB needs to take another look at their own facility. Put it in the hands of a tuner, at least you'll get some customer service, warranty be damned.

Grabber thats the thing, the car drives fine but these guys say its lean,Kb states and a few others that sometimes the widebands some tuners use can be off by a point ,before i spent money to get worked up i drove the car as i would having confidence in the tune.I wasn't there and have no evidence of this being true that the car was reading lean, i even race it after that day and taught an annoying camaro a lesson.I am supposed to take it to burcham @ JPCRACING he seems to know his stuff hopefully i can get some answers.Another thing my car might be lean in their words but i don't need no tuner to tell me shut the f...k up and pay to have the car tuned indirectly and thats one of the reasons i didn't let them do it because i want to learn about the car also so if the tuner thinks he too good to educate you or to take a closer look, lets say for A VACCUUM LEAK ETC.Then i say SAC and i spend my hard earned money elsewhere.AMEN.

Pull your plugs. You'll see peppering on the plug porcelain if it's on the verge of lean. I've been told on more than one occasion that my tune is a hair too lean by looking at the plugs, I've checked and rechecked everything, going as far as basically pulling off and completely reinstalling all the blower components, including completely re-wiring the BAP. I've had the blower on for a year and a half now, and I'm tired of not knowing how far the tune is off. I have the AEM wideband that shows 12.5 at WOT, but like I said there is no part-throttle enrichment. I'm breaking down and paying the money to get a real tune. I've nursed this crap canned tune long enough. I tried to give KB the benefit of the doubt, but after this long, with no results or outcome, it's time to get it on the dyno.
