What is the AFR when it happens? You should always run a WO2 with forced induction. Is this with the KB tune? Are you sure its not detonation? (make damn sure its not!!). Here is some info on detonation.

I am running the kb tune.Detonation making sounds in the back its not all the time either and happens in different gears, mostly second and forth. Maybe the plugs do need to be changed out,i am hoping that what it is.Calling KB and asking them anything can be a waste of time they make you even more paranoid.

Plugs are regular gap where they have been.To explain things a little better i upgraded to the intercooled kit and had the A/F checked 11.6 -.9 was the highest seen, this was a custom tune for a non-intercooled kit that i had problems with till it was custom tuned. The shops tuner said it was fine(JUST A SHOP I WENT TO FOR A A/F CHECK) then as it got colder or whatever happened she started popping from the back. Noticed it when i dropped a forth and when i shifted to forth 2 separate times,i noticed it pulling of from a light wheels skidding in second, pop, pop, pop, pop. It seems to happen when she gets that stand in it kind of driving but gradually going into boost didn't hear anything. Now one day i did a blow by my buddy and he said it was sounding like fire crackers below the hood got the kb tune for the intercooled kit still popping.Idles fine, drives regular but i when i put my foot down it a coin toss.Could the plugs be damaged from the previous pinging and wouldn't that cause the car to idle weird.

Get some Autolite HTO's and gap them down to .030 to .032

If you don't have a gapping tool specifically for our style plugs just put the plug in the plug socket and squeeze the gap down by putting it in a vise. Don't go too far because it's a bitch to try to open the gap back up.

This is based on SCT stuff, but you should be able to figure out what diablo calls these pids. You should hear it up front. Cold air is more dense and can sometimes push the car over the limit if the tune is not setup properly, or on the very jagged edge.
