Factory Bump Stops

What's everyone doing with them when lowered? Replacing them? Cutting them? Leaving them as is. Lets hear about this ..

I cut mine in half. havent bottomed out the suspension yet. rides well.

There are three notches on the factory bump stops and I cut one of them off. I just did it today so I don't have any results on it.

Eibach sells a shorter one. I'd like to know the height compared to the factory bump stop. Anyone know?

the rear? wait....what are you talking about, Nasty?

i was talking about the bump stop in the front Strut. it's offwhite/yellow. one in each. i cut that in half. what's on the rear axle?

I'm talking about the bump stop on the rear axle. Pull your rear wheels off and look at the axle. It's pretty easy to see.

I havent cut mines and i suffered two sets of broken endlinks before i figured that was the problem, I am on prokit springs, If anyone knows where to get them i am interested in buying them before i put new endlinks again

I never cut mine down. Didn't think they needed anything done to them. I'm starting to get a little creaking that I'm guessing is sway bar related. Maybe because my stops are too tall?

I couldn't tell you. I don't have the Eibachs. I ended up cutting my factory bump stops at the first notch. It has worked great for me and it was free !!

you only need to cut the bumpstops when u add schocks/struts right? i left mine and havent noticed anything... but im on stock shocks

If you have lowering springs, check if you're hitting the bump stops on the frame.
