ok This car has ported heads, stock cams and a vortech t-trim. In order of power produced most to least. The shop is Anderson ford motorsports.

1st: MAC LT's with prochamber 42.13/ 36.90 (22.52 average gain)
2nd: Kooks (with x pipe i think) 40.76/ 35.71 (23.59 average gain)
3RD:stainless works(mid pipe??) 35.64/38.24 (12.78 average gain)???
4th:BBK(with O/R x) 33.61/29.46 (17.39 average gain)
5th: bassani(o/r x) 33.24/29.10 (17.39 average gain)
6th: Hooker(o/r x) 28.08/24.59 (14.57 average gain)
7th: Jba(o/r H) 26.30/23.05 (17.82 average gain)

I am sure that these tests are not perfect but here they are. I am sure it is based on mods, and this is under boost.

yes. Idk what the hell happened to the stainless, and they didn't have their midpipe. And this is a centri supercharger. And the thing that helped the MAC was the pro chamber, they did say however that the MAC's were a bizo to install.

MAC isnt half the cost.

MAC o/r prochamber, which is what that test is. is 835 list, generally can be had for 790 shipped.

Kooks o/r x pipe can be had for 1100 shiped, thats not really half the price.

You can not get mac catted, you can get kooks catted if you need catted legs down the road.

KOOKS has an unlimited lifetime warranty, mac does not, it has a limited 3 year warranty.

Plus kooks is never on backorder, mac is never not on backorder.

Plus Kooks is the most tune freindly on this car. Run into a 3v with long tubes and cams that wont run right from 3000 to 4000 rpms and you know what i mean. Ive seen it three times, luckily i work with people that know what it is and how to fix it.

i agree for the money mac is probaby the best deal going for what you get. But there are reasons to pay for KOOKS, is not just a name.

Oh and the most important of all, nothing sounds as mean as a kooks x pipe and race axle backs, its pure race car.

they are a good deal for what you get, stainless steel, ceramic coated. I think mac is going to check that x pipe price pretty quick actually once they realize its hard to sell your coveted prochamber for 389 when your selling a x pipe for 199??? something is going to change quick.

I'm a big prochamber fan myself but can't seem to see it worth paying that much of a differance. Isn't the x supposed to get more power? Not really a fan of the x, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper.

Some people think the prochamber makes more power then a X. I never beleived that it did, i figured at best its the same as a x pipe. I saw a track comparision where the prochamber picked up a 1/10 over a H pipe, but have never seen it run against a x pipe.
