I was thinking they were around 300. I believe the Steeda is 120. Are they really that much better. I know I've heard the Thumprr(sp?) is unbreakable. The Steeda units break often?

well less of the steeda being unreliable and more of just a pure record of use ranging from your average joe to all out street machines. I mean i would say the 180 difference would be made up by knowing you gave your machine the best you could find. ALthough dont get me wrong steeda has a great reputation for solid parts for great prices. I have not used a steeda tensioner so i cant comment at all on the bang for the buck.

There is also an Edelbrock #15806 steel tensioner brace that bolts on to the stocker...eliminates flex (which is what kills the stocker) and good enough for the Edelbrock TVS setup - $37 plus shipping.

PM me (any of you) if you want to buy mine. It is lightly used. I no longer need it since I run the P-51 tensioner with my Roush TVS blower. I'll do $30 shipped to USA...it is this one: Edelbrock Steel Belt Tensioner Brace / 2005-2009 Mustang GT & F150

The steeda unit is solid and its priced really good. Still no probs with my BGG, but I got it before the steeda one came out.
