How to build '07 Mustang GT to 400bwhp without forced induct

What can I do to my car to achieve 400bwhp without any forced induction? The car currently is totally stock. Is the Ford Drag pack worth spending my money on?

They made 380 w/ a very streetable tune and a stock motor

They made 406 on a aggresive tune still with a stock motor.

with a built motor and a little higher compression you should hit that 400 mark with ease.

BBR Ported & Polished CNC Machined 3V Heads
BBR Stage II Cams
BBR VCT Lockout
Manley Valvetrain
IMRC Plates
UD Pullies
JLT CAI
Stainless Works LT Headers
Off-Road Xpipe
SCT XCal2

some time and know how for tuning and you'll hit that 400 mark.

Cams
Pullies
CAI
Tuner (extensive tuning)
Long Tube Headers
Charge Motion Plates
Heads
Coil On Connectors

it will get you close to the 400 mark....

Heads, cams, full bolt ons. might not get you 400 rwhp but with the right tires gearing an a little suspension work low mid to low 12s arent out of the question.

here is the one from Granatelli.

Granatelli, Ford Racing, Steeda and MotoBlue make sets of them.

Thanks everyone on the advice. I want to do everything I can before I install a supercharger so that I may see the maximum hp gains possible. I want to build it correctly from the beginning.

to get that 400 ho n/a your prob gonna have to bump up the compresison and if you plan on doing a supercharger loater on, you dont want the compression any higher. do all those mods and theyll give you a great base and then you can throw on a blower. but you need to make sure you get a good safe tune or itll never last

meaning the driveability was crap on that tune. The average person wouldn't want to drive their brand new car like it's a fox body with a 4200 stall in it on the street everyday.
