Not a happy camper

So i went out last nght to see a movie with my girlfriend. We go have a good time and when i get back to my car i find this lovely treasure.

I was parked close to the back so i thought id be safe. i dont think the place has cameras that go that far out/cameras at all. Im probably going to go to a dealer by my work and get a quote or something and try to get insurance to take care of it i guess. what should i do?

you should take smaller pics.

then get a quote. Looks to be around $600 or so worth of damage including repaint.

sorry my fone takes big pics i just got it and havent messed with the camera aspect that much lol. should i let insurance handle it?

that is up to you. Depends on your deductible. If you have a $500.00 deductible I wouldn't even tell them. Get your quote first ( at least three) and cross match it with your deductible and divide your raising insurance rate.

then simply cross match the cost and see if it will be more in the long run with the insurance hike vs. paying for it yourself out of pocket.

That sucks man. THat's why I'm hesitant to take my Mustang out to places like that.

Yeah. In that case I will do my best to park as far away as possible.

this is why i have a zero deductible for comp. you'd be amazed at how little having a zero comp deduct actually raises your premium. i'm with hmusn though. if you do have a 500 deduct. i'd go get quotes before even talking to the insurance. did you at least check to see if the place had camera's. better to at least make the phone call and have them tell you no, but make sure you ask for a manager when you call. the regular guy that answers the phone may have no idea.
