2010 parts

Hey guys. I ordered a 2010 GT a while back through a military program we have and I'm saving up a huge down payment while I'm here in Iraq. Although I'm out here

, I have limited access to information. I understand they're in showrooms now. Has anyone seen it, sat in it, or driven it? I've read pretty much every article online over the past 8 months on this car but I'd like some regular joe opinions from people who have seen it so i know what to expect.

Also anyone know if the aftermarket is making parts yet? I'm going bolt on crazy with this thing from day one.

I would believe most performance mods for S197s could be used on the 2010, but I am not 100% sure. Until they actually come out, I dont think people will be labeling any mods for the 2010 and up.

mustangfan, there's usually an aftermarket set up for a new car coming out, for example the camaro's. there's already bolton's for them...same thing for the '10 mustang. vendors/fabricators already have basic shit.

I think most of the changes were cosmetic. I would think most of the performance parts should be the same.

dj1123 how is iraq I am picking orders and there is nothing but shit on the jazz so.....I might go to iraq or afganistan....thoughts, I will be an E-5 here soon but they might make me pick E-4 orders and I am sure as shit not going to cuba.

anyway, i thought they were planning on shutting Gitmo down?

i'm first in line for afghanistan. the marines aren't going to iraq anymore, or at least not for long...we're headed to afghan now. all the meu's/mef's/and div's are going straight to the mountains. there's nothing left in the sandbox...that's why we're leaving the army there

Well there should be loads of mods being tested for the 2010 currently. A carried over engine means the same mods usually right?

actually, the 'modular' engine has been carried over since 1996. different mods. different setups, just this one won't be so drastic.
