LiL Road Trip in a Stang with 4.56's?

Gonna do about 325 miles...maybe a bit more who knows what the day will bring. Plan is to visit Wright Patterson AFB, ill give you the verdict if its too much or not enough gear tomorrow night!

driving slow I assume? Just kidding. I have the stock 3.55s and I run a lot of highway miles and I get about 24. Can't complain because I'm always up for a little spirited run and often show what I've got. HMMMMM that sounded weird and gay but you know what I mean.

My father and I are averaging 28 HWY MPG with a stupid KN replacement filter for the stock air box... 3.55 diff here too. Manual for teh win! (My license plate [4TEHWIN])

My crappy shifting in city yeilds an amazing 20 MPG. Not too bad considering I'm still learning. Starting to hate the delay in the gas pedal though... shame I'm too scared shitless to actually get under there and fix the problem...

Kinda depends on mods I assume, I'm stock =(

Don't underestimate K&N they're really good. Maybe that's the reason you save so much gas. Damn 28 it's really good!

Even with my mods and 3.73s, I still get 23 mpg at 80-85. Thats according to the on board computer. I havent done a long enough stretch to really calculate it.

4.10-4.565's will commonly improve city gas milage b/c can use OD gears, and in hilly areas will take load off motor.

Just DO NOT put $20 Thrush glasspacks directly to headers and drive an hour with gears to the track... ask me how I know >

Im pretty sure thats when I turned purple...

It was a 50$ replacement I bought for my 06 V6 and it got some insane gas mileage, but I wouldntcall them really good. For a stock replacement filter, anything is better than stock LOL.
