Black Head Lights / Tail Lights

I've been looking at some of the options for head lights and tail lights. I actually really prefer the look of the painted tail lights over the replacements. But I understand that tinting your lights may be illegal in NC. Any of you used this product before?

Anyway, I've been looking at other options since the tinting may cause me problems with inspection or the police . . .

Have any of you seen anybody running these:

But . . . I'm not sure how I like those actually installed on the car.

I don't really care about sequential. I don't really care about the light effects from the halo lights. I just like the all black look. The paint seems to do that the best. But, then I'm back to my original problem . . . with the law. Anybody know of a good aftermarket light that blacks out most of the tail light / head light.

Recommendations?

get the spray but forget those headlights they are gay.

Both look like ass, IMO. I'd just get some tint from Lamin-X.

Yeah . . . I don't really care as much for all the effects either. And those tail lights do look like ass installed. What I am really asking about is lights that create a blacked out look. These are the only ones that I have seen that don't involve paint but have black on the actual interior of the light. Anybody know of any others that look better?

Just use the tint for the tail lights. It's not going to make the lights invisible. As far as the head lights if you don't want to do tint than I'd get these ..

screw it!! tint the headlights! i did with window tint from walmart, 20% tint also did the corner lights

I'm stationed in South Carolina and their laws are very similiar to North Carolina. I picked up the headlight and tail light covers from Americanmuscle at 60 bucks a set. Don't know the percentage as to how dark they are - but they are black. As long as your fogs in the front aren't covered the cops shouldnt mess with you. The tail lights are fine to black out....
