Well you need more then just the tapped delete plates. You better ask 07 what the damage is going to be in the long wrong.

its wicked expensive...and you need a good dyno tuner close to where you live. how big a shot are you going? this direct port set up is intended for anything above 125 ish. if you are only looking to spray 100 shot, stick with a single fogger system, either plate or fogger nozzle. Im starting out on a 200 shot and upping to a 300 shot by summers end.

i mean the jets would be so small for a 100 shot direct port it wouldint be worth it.

That's good advice. That's what these forums are all about. Saving us "grunts" time, money and effort. Not to mention headaches. Your right Brother, you are way outta' my league. I'm only going a 100 shot max. Thanks for the heads-up, I won't be needing those delete plates after all.

Well I like my zex kit. I have been running it for at least 6 months. 100 wet shot fogger nozzle. Earlier there was a thread and I posted up some pics. I'm sure you can find it.

What did he tell you?

I was talking to someone the other day that said the plate kit was the best on n/a becuase the nitrous does something better for better distribution?

But then i thought i might have heard him backwards actually because it sounded like he was sayhing the nitrous needs more time to seperate or something. That would seem like it would be better with a set up further away from the manifold. I dont know what do you think of that?

I found your previous post and there's alot that helped me. Good job! Thanks
http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums...d-nitrous.html

I guess I'm where all you Nitrous guys were at once ...... hesitating! The more threads I read the more I realize how much I don't know. Like the window switches. ZEX is said to be a PITA so some like the HSWMicroEdge
Harris Speed Works :: Nitrous Controllers :: Nitrous Window Switches & Timing Tuners :: The HSW MicroEdge Nitrous Controller
Bottle Heaters/Coolers. I live in Southern Maryland and the summer outside temps can be sustained 90+. I guess I could just take the bottle out except on track days but then you Texas guys like the Nitrosaurus..heater/cooler
Specifications
Maybe I'm just over-thinking this.
Man my head is spinin'. I need a chill pill. lol

Thats why i never went plate...further away from th TB the better 12 inches is where mine is at...never had a hicup. But there are lots of plates that work fine as well.

12 Inches or more away from the throttle body will help mix the nitrous and gas better. There is a Tech section on Brenspeed that goes into detail on the Zex Kit, and where to mount the nozzle.
