Wow you guys are getting good gas mileage. I'm stuck under 25 mpg no matter my driving style AND its a 6

I took a trip over the weekend with my friend to pick up his new F Body. I averaged 26.8 mpg on the way there and significantly less on the drive home haha

I don't see how it's 16 gallons. I've gone dangerously low before and was only able to squeeze close to 13 gallons in there. It's got to be around 14 gallons ...

Anyways, I get 18 mpg with my Roush TVS. It's still better than my 2006 F150 on 37s and 10" of lift though.

I got 9mpg the week after my cams because I drove the ever living shit out of the car...cruising back from Joe's place on the highway, I was getting 27mpg@65mph

Most manufactures will set the dummy light to come on at 2-3 gallons left in the tank that way you freak out and fear running out before you really would, it promotes longevity of the fuel pump, if you actually run dry the fuel pump wont last long.

Agreed, only problem is that I had used close to two gallons since the dummy light.

i get about 8-9 mpgs here in the city lol...its new york stop every 100 feet or so. I average 19 mpgs on the highway now with the 4.10's and the 20's
