Headers for an Automatic?

I need info about which headers are the easiest to install, which fit best and have adequate clearance for a car lowered and inch in the front and one and a half in the rear. Also it would be helpful to know how much time the install took and what had to be removed or jacked up on the car. I once put a set of headers on a 69 Cobra Jet and it was a nightmare. I know that eventually I am going to make the install, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Ron

headers are always a bitch to install, but if you read ahead and plan with friends then you should be ok. I think kooks install the easiest, but what is easy with headers.

Is that a serious or sarcastic question?

Headers on these cars reguardless of trans are a pain (not like a foxbody). If Emissions are are an issue got with the FRPP ceramic coated shortys-If power is the main concer go with ARH or KooK's longtubes-ONLY. Dont run any of the other junk. I personally run ARH longtubes on my Auto GT

Yeah?? Can you find me a link?? Do they sound good with Flowmaster American Thunders?? Also, is there clearance issues? I have a 06 GT lowered on FRPP Springs (1.5in drop all around).. car sits on 18s and has an auto.. Do not know if that info is needed or not at all.. but i just duno how it will hang.. if itll be too low or iight. I assume for 700- those headers are NOT stainless steel? Either way, if you can post me the link.. That may be a better option then spending $478 on 8000k HIDS for head and fog lights.. Put this tax return money to better use. What hp you think i can gain?? I do not just want sound, with a little power.. Is it going to get a good 18-20rwhp???

About to become one?

Id like to see i link to that combo as well, if that is the x that mounts directly to the mac long tubes and not the one that requires modification i might buy it from you.
