Nope. Tail shafts are differen't. You guys have a linkage type shifter....our shifter does not.
You need a t-6060 |

I believe Steeda makes a shifter for that.

its not gonna work buddy, if i am not mistaken s197's have a slave cylinder for clutch depression and the shifter location is in a totally different place. T56 uses a cable to disengage the clutch plus shifter location. Hint, buy things for your year car.
