I'm listening...

Rich I need 4.10's and Hurst shifter.

I'm up in the air as to whether or not to buy:

Hurst Billet Plus and a spare set of valve covers to paint...buy 4.10's later.

or

Old Hurst Comp and 4.10's.

It says FRPP but to be sure just call Brenspeed and ask for Seth. See if there's an "M" at the end of the part number. If yes>then it's Motive.

Will do...Seth's helped me out before. He's a good guy. I'll email and see what he says.

I will definitely check with him on both. It seems like I may have checked with him awhile back on the Hurst, but ended up having to spend the $ on something else.

I can match their price on the hurst and beat their price on the gears.

I would get either the new hurst or something else, not the old hurst. Its really only good for a shorter throw its not a good track shifter and not good for banging gears. i had both.

I cant answer whether thats the right gears on brenspeeds site but you want the 4.10s with the a at the end, they dont have a letter listed in the part number

Thanks! New Hurst it is...

I will purchase it from you Rich if you're matching the $249.95 shipped price.

^ How much are your non-motive 4.10's?

He said that the part number is the listed item number on their site and that they are not the motive produced gears.

He also said that there was nothing wrong with the motive gears that they carry...lol.

I'd get the 4.10's over the valve covers. Your only going to see the covers every once in a while, but you'll feel the gears every time you drive the car.

I will get the gears soon regardless. I only have $350 to drop so it looks like it will definitely be the shifter and the valve covers for right now since I'm going with the new Hurst. I'll do the gears in the next couple months after I've saved $ for the gears, install kit, and cash to pay my brother for helping me install them.
