i ran pypes. would buy them again. I've still got there mid-muffler set up. IMO, they are the best sounding mufflers on the market. took a while to get the mids to not rub, but when thats the sound you want and they are the only company that makes that product, you have no choice.

I'm not going to knock your MM system, but this is a prime example of how exhaust sound is so subjective. I've had stock, the MM system with OR-H, then added LT's, then swapped to Bassani Race, and I think the Bassani Race axle-backs sound light years better than the MM system. The MM was slightly louder, but it was just so, I don't know the word... "un-crisp"? Super muffled and not a clean tone at all. The Bassani's are amazing from low end to high, with zero drone.

It's really best to listen to a LOT of systems in person before committing to anything.

I don't have Singers, nor have I heard them in person with OBX LT's, so I can't really say.

OBX Headers are top notch quality, perfect fitment, and zero issues. I think I paid around $450 shipped for mine.

Eh, pypes is ok. Fitment is not perfect, but they sound nice. At least their welds are good! I didn't know they made a 4 piece design for a midpipe though.... They only make 3 piece for new edges, and those were a pain in the ass as it was. 4 piece!?

I do see mostly o/r h on s197's though

As already said those kooks mid pipes are for the kooks long tubes. They arenot going to mount to your stock manifold.

Check out a o/r prochamber.

and having read through the rest of the thread, im not sure what you are trying to do, but your buying a used kooks mid pipe and in the summer going to shop for headers?

Again the kooks mid pipe is for kooks long tubes, it wont mount to the stock manifold, and it would need some modification to mount to any other long tubes.

If you are going long tubes in the summer just wait on the midpipe. Or get the o/r prochamber, then when you bought mac long tubes, you would just need the short legs, or cut the the long legs.
