I got a few questions for yall, i have had my mustang since late 2005, it is a 2006 mustang GT, i got sort of into modding it but i lost my job and sold all the mods, luckly i finished school and i just sold my show truck so ive got some "Mod" money. I dont want to get out of control with it yet, because i can only afford spending 7,000... That is my cart contents right now, leaves me with like 800, I have no clue how to install most of the power mods.... No clue where to get them installed, or suspensions so if you know the fresno area let me know...

Anything in there thats not a good idea? Or maybe just overkill.. anything i should buy ???

OK......trash the steeda throttle body spacer, they dont do anything.
Get the frpp 4.10s from rich at RADMUSTANGS RAD Mustangs Performance Parts Shop. He matches prices and can beat some.

With the 800. you should get some cams!!!!! And once again get them from rich at RAD and get the tune from brenspeed.

Great thus far...

IMO only 2 I'd avoid.

1. Shorty headers: stock flow about the same, save for a good set of longtubes.

2. delete plates.: with the C&L intake already deleting them completly... and Im sure by this time next year there will be 5 companies w/ intakes that do not use the deletes... put this $ to your longtube account

Try to install as much as you can... itll save you a fortune in the end.

And you will love the bassani race axle backs they are the shit!!!

And make sure the steeda delete plates are the "race" and not the econo plates and dont let anyone tell you different, trust me!

And get a spyder drive shaft while you are at it. Rich can get you one also. They are the best and the cheapest. They have one on a 900rwhp GT 500 with slicks, NO PROBLEMS!

just have JDM engeneering port your stock intake, its $400.00 and will be good for 10hp, coupled with the race plates you will be at the same level and not the same cost.

Forget the show and get more go fast goodies. S/C through 07stanggt or brenspeed. If your staying N/A get the CAI/Tuner combo from Bamachips. Your retunes will be free. Brenspeed will only give you free retunes if you buy the parts from them

C&L deletes them completely ? so ... you get the 10hp gain aswell with a C&L/?

or should i got steeda intake + delete plates?

the c&l has produced 27hp(maybe) under boost. You are not boosted I would go with the plates and if you want that extra hp get you intake manifold ported here JDM Engineering (they are not the ricer jdm/ they do mustangs) call them up and ask for james JR.

Motive makes all FRPP gears now....all of them even the new style single pass machined tooth style that recently came out.. Motive gears are just fine as long as you know how to set them up.

I say NO Shorties, NO TB spacer. Do a set of J&M lower control arms with their adjustable upper and a panhard bar.

I am still getting cams, but It looks like they will be nsr's I need a cam that has an angle or what ever it is of 114 or better The nsr's are 115 so I think I will get some of those and then get the turbo. The only reason I am getting one is because I saw a turbo and it was amazing, I have seen the s/c's and driven them and I love all motor but I can do the all motor thing for the most part and be good for a turbo down the road. Minus the sweet exhaust parts

And the vanity thing, idk about all those halo fogs and headlights. that money could be better spent on a chin spoiler or something (more go). But to each his own. And the extra 800+ bucks will probably go toward all those installs, so if you know how to use a socket wrench id recommend trying them yourself, its fun and rewarding. There are alot of writeups on this forum among others, if you need a specific one just search or ask

If you are doing lights get the oem or saleen HID kit so they are brighter and better.

I would also not get the 1/4 window covers. I would also get a GT 500 chin spoiler. Like bigpappy here it looks sexual..............(don't you judge me...)

I bought these and they are NOT smoked, they are more chrome than the stock headlights. I had American Muscle send me two sets before I realized they are supposed to be like that, so much for them being SMOKED !! So, now I'm trying to figure out what to do with these lights. I think I'm just going to send them back to get the first lights. They look a lot darker in the pictures.
