you wont' regret it man...i did the install myself they were a perfect fit...you can feel a good amount of mid range torque out of them...and now with my cams i can really feel that the LT's are doing there job...

If I did it again, I'd go Kooks so I wouldn't have to fight my CEL. One other problem with my Bassani is the install, done by me. The collector is a separate piece, not welded to the pipes. It slides on REALLY tight and also has high temp gasket sealer in it - which means its possible to put it on slightly crooked. Which means the midpipe alignment can get all shot to hell. Which means I needed to pay an exhaust shop $100 to chop some welds, bend slightly, and re-weld....which also means I have a nagging low-hanging cat I need to go back and get raised so I won't fear scraping stuff after I lower the car. Would have been a hella lot easier to have gone with Kooks.

Mac. Can't beat the cost, they make the most power second to kooks, and you can run an X pipe or Prochamber. They are ceramic coated also, and pretty good quality from what I see looking at them in the box lol.
I wouldn't get JBA, I've heard of a lot of fitment and quality control issues, and they are one of the lowest ranking as far as power goes.

Kooks are awesome, but the MACs are a great value. The MACs may be alittle more of a pain to install.

if you want a solid gain then the kooks or bassani I am telling you......I like how my bassani's sound, and they gave more than the average gain I would say, and they make the car. But I would say that the kooks are the easiest to install.

I thought Bassani's were going to be the easiest LT to install due to the single pipes that you can feed into the car one at a time. But reality was it made all the header bolts harder to get in.
I'd imagine with any other design once you get 2 bolts on the top front & back corners in, the rest are already lined up. With Bassani's, each and every header bolt was a new adventure. Took freakin forever. 18 hours! Granted, we did not have an 8mm gear wrench. Just an ordinary boring 8mm wrench. That slowed us up a lot too.

If you have the tools, know how and friends you can get those puppies in there in about 10 hours start to finish.
But they are unique.....and by unique I mean pain in the ass. But all that goes away after you start it up and put your foot down. And nothing sounds like them. |

JBA Ceramic Long Tubes
A buddy of mine with a Magnacharged '08 Bullitt stopped by the house tonight to show off his latest mod. JBA Ceramic Long Tubes installed at JPC Racing (Justin Burcham) in Glen Burnie, Md. He got them on-line for $700 (forgot where he said) and the install was another $800. A clean install with no hanging low issue in fact I could barely see them when I looked under the car. They sounded strong and he says it pullls a little harder. Justin said it would pass the tough MD. emissions test we have here as well. Adds about 17 hp.
