Hi all, i am thinking of carbon fibering my dash, especially the brushed alum type parts. I basically buy the sheets and cut em to size and stick em on. How do u think it might look?
any opinions? thanks

You do realize the whole reason for carbon fiber is weight reduction...

...thus adding vinyl that looks like carbon fiber on top of OE pieces is only adding weight...

...thus you would have what we call a "ricer mentality". I hope it's not permanent.

yea...its ricey isnt it? i havent slept for 19 hours now so guess my mind is pretty fried...i came accross that web site and just thought i might get some of that stuff...good thing i posted here first .. oh well......i would like to have an all black theme for my interior though...maybe i will just get flat black or matte black..the thing is, i am kinda setting up a theme for my stang...gonna get black rims...like the cobra style rims and the trunk lid blackout too. one day when i finally get some stripes painted on the outside i'll have some of the interior dash pieces painted to match. have the body shop paint everything at once so there is a perfect color match to the stripes and a pro job. nothing out of a spray can
