Power washing the engine ?

I've noticed the 07 is getting really dirty under the hood. Looks to to be on the sides just near the wheel wells. Is there any problem with power washing under the hood ? I have a CAI that ill wrap in plastic wrap...but anyting else i need worry about ?

personally i would'nt use high pressure, much less using water at all, i finally cleaned my 98 gt's motor a couple of years ago and i had my speed shop do it. i had a predator 4 wheeler and the manuel said in bold letters do not use high pressure to clean bike. on my 07 i'm going to wait til it really needs it, the less water the better.

Here are a couple of products you can use to clean under the hood with out effort.

S100 is an engine cleaner/degreaser. Spary it on and let it set for about 10 miniutes. Use water to rise it right off. No scrubbing is need. It can be picked up at most Harley shops.

Pig Spit stops the dust and dirt form collecting around the engine bay and puts a nice shine on without polishing. Works great and can be picked up at Wal-Mart in the motorcycle section for about $7 a can.

This shot is after I used the Pig Spit.
