from what i hear side exhaust are worse for performance, but that is just what i have heard.

for the performance get some long tube headers. a new mid pipe will make it flow better also. the H pipe makes a deeper sound while the x pipe makes a bit more raspy sound.

for the end sound you really just need to know what you want it to sound like as the muffler will determine the tone.

SLP Loudmoths!!! You'll be roaring like crazy!!

and just a FYI, when you change the axle backs, any kit you get your going to get roughly 5HP. don't listen to this 20RWHP gain bullshit from like Corsa Performance or Borla or any other of those companies. its all about the sound when it comes to the axle backs.

if you want power, then get yourself some longtube headers.

Dont longtube headers also make the exhaust note raspy mush like a x-pipe. I was told by someone that shorty headers have a better sound to them verse longtube. I know longtube headers get better power but what about the sound?

Not too sure about the sound, but I do know that shorties on our engines are worthless. The L/T's have shown a much better performance increase.
HP first, sound second were obviously my priorities however.

i have the slp's and i like them alot. i think they might be a little to loud with long tubes. its gonna be fun when I install the turbo . you had a post about S/C or turbos. most of your turbos use your stock manifold or shorties. no L/T's. superchager you can do what you want.
