Help a drag racer out!

Is there a calculator out there that will help calculate what size tires are ideal for 1/4 mile? I can get a dyno sheet, trans ratios and rear gear ratio. This is for a friend I race with. Thanks for any help.

What size tires you need depend on your set up. gears, suspension, transmission, ect..

Yeah, I have all that info. I just need a formula to plug all the info into.

Basically, he has 406 BHP, he wants to pass through the traps at 5800 RPM, he has 4.10 gears and a turbo 350 with stock ratios. I would have to look up the RPM's that the engine hits max HP and TQ.

Awesome! That might do what he needs. Too bad we didn't know about this yesterday, we were at Summit Racing, we could have picked one up!
