Cleaning CAI Filter?

How should i do this. just run it though water?

what CAI do you have??

K&N cleaner and reoil kit is what i use.

yes, runnin water from the inside, washing it outwards where it came from is the right method. Go pick up the K&N filter Recharge kit from Autozone, but only if you want your filter to be red

so ya either way it seems as tho the only suggestions are the k&n recharge kit....

Here's a thread where the color was discussed. The color of the filter is in the dye of the oil, find a filter oil that's dyed a different color seems to be the answer.

And here's the JLT site where they have both red and blue oil for sale.

i might have to drive over to JLT and pick some of the blue oil up. fun fun.

Yeah, I had no idea the oil came in any color but red. Wonder if there's an easter egg option available with stripes and stickers?

JLT is based in chesapeake. all of 20 minutes from my house.
