SC pulley question

Just to update on my a/F ratio, brenspeed said my vacuum line setup was fine so they had me add 6 richer to the 93 octane tune. They said that should take care of it. Originally I had been set on 6 leaner.

Next question. I want to go from a 3.87 pulley to the 3.6 pulley (7.5 psi). how much power could I expect from this upgrade, given the current mods I have? Anyone know how much Brenspeed charges to update the SCT program for new mods?

You'll get a better power increase going to a 3.4. Get in touch with Mickey. I think he's running a 3.4

You are looking at around 25-30 hp for each pulley.
Not sure what Brenspeed charges, but JDM charges $185 for a new tune.

If I'm at 420 rwhp now and I go with the 3.6 then thats going to put me at least around 540 crank hp. Going to the 3.4 could put me in dangerous territory according to what I read on some of these forums. I realize that at some point I shouldnt go any further without having to upgrade internal components.

is that sae correction? and I don't think that the 3.4 is going to kill your engine, but 3.6 is safer I guess.

Your running the 3.8 pulley right now, the 3.6 pulley would put you in the range of 510 crank HP.
The 3.4 pulley would put you in the range of 540 crank HP.

I've been running the 3.4 pulley on mine for 6-7 Months now and beat on it regular, never had any issues.
If you haven't upgraded your fuel system, with the 3.4 pulley you would need to.

I think I'll just try and be happy at that power level for awhile. I already spent $160 on the pulley and belt, then it'll be another $185 for the brenspeed email tune. I don't want to have to buy a new fuel pump with all that so I'll just stop at the 3.6 pulley (for awhile anyway). I figured with the parasitic loss through the auto tranny that i was in the ballpark of 510 crank hp already. I might be wrong though.
