how much is it for a shelby gt 500 in ny
im thinking of selling my mustang gt auto for a shebly gt 500 just wondering how much they go for. and do u think its worth it?

last i looked they are around 42-45K. What year is your GT ?

Here in GA they are 20k over sticker, so about 60-65k here.

when you get to the dealer, about $55-60 grand.

good luck trying to get a shelby GT500 for sticker. the mark-ups over sticker are ridiculous! people are actually spending 20 grand over just to have one of these.

ive seen some sell for over $80,000

and those arent any more special than the next GT500

yeah its a nice car

for $45,000

but its not a nice car for $80,000

when i was shopping around for my stang, there was a shelby that got sold for 78k here in chicago burbs.

either that or get a roush,i've read that roushes are better in 4/5 aspects. the GT500 may outpower it a little but the roush makes up for it in more ways than one. with a few mods it would smoke a 500.

I wanted a GT500 so bad and could have afforded one but the principle of paying that much over sticker just sucks. I refused to support that mindset of the dealers because it encourages it. I hope every one of them that is marked up over sticker sits on their floor till it rusts. I also hope that it makes them go broke having it there. Ford should step in and make them sell at sticker.In the Shelby case Ford stands for FreakinOverpricedRottenDealers! (Good thing I'm holding back what I really feel)

Do some leg work, you can find them at MSRP. Start with small dealers in rural areas. If you find one, get a signed contract.

I made my deal 18 months before the car was built. Start now and you may be able to get an 08'.
