My last few oil changes have been with Mobil 1 5W20 and a Mobile 1 filter. I haven't had any issues.

k good cuz from what i hear they had issues with oil pressure when they first came out...they were out of the K&N filters so i thought the mobil 1 would be as good.

Just don't run FRAM !! The anti-drainback valves are not sufficient for these motors. Personally, I use a K&N filter on everything since it's got the 1" nut on the top to take off if they are seized up tight.

what makes you want to switch from the motorcraft? i have been running that and royal purple 5w-20 since i got the car, is there any real advantage to the mobile 1 filter?

I'd probably be inclined to say not much. It's a good filter. I think the K&N filter is cheaper and probably comparable quality.

I use AC Delco for GM, Motorcraft for Ford, and Honda for Honda....

+1 on fram.. everytime I install them at work, I cringe.. 2 ply filter material BAH HUMBUG..

the OE filters are top of the line... screw any designer filter.
