Next Mod

Ok, did some reading on the subject using the "Search" button. Looks like Im headed for my next mod. Got the Steeda CAI and the SCTx3 today. Im trying to decide between the following mods next. I am probably not going to do the driveshaft right now but Im throwing it in there anyway. Im trying to make an informed decision and I think my best choice for a next mod is going to be in the rear suspension department.

You should consider gears as one of your mods.

I did think about that too, however I was think with the traction/launching issues I already have, making improvements in the suspension would be better to start with and get those parts out of the way then move on to gears/engine mods, etc

I would go with the BMR Lowering Kit with BMR LCA's. Also get everything from 07stanggt aka rich aka radmustangs.com

Where are you looking at going with your car? Strip, autocross, street? That should help you make a decision. Strictly 1/4 mile go witht he drag pack. Street/strip BMR wheel hop from radmustangs. AutoX spherical bushings on tubular (was that one of the choices?). It all depends on what you are looking to gain and for what.

Street/strip, I DD it, not far though since I live on base. Harsh ride doesnt bother me too much, not sure I want to lower it though and deal with all the other aspects of that. Plus Im not sure Ido like the way it would ride like that. No Auto-X, only racing I do is drag strip.
I live my life 10 seconds at a time..............

Well I'm trying to build a street/strip ride and is my DD also. I did a lot of research before making some of my choices. I went with the BMR anti wheel hop set up and am very happy with it. I went with a mild drop too even though I knew this wasn't the best for the 1/4 mile, but my car is a compromise street/strip ride. I know you didn't ask but, you ought to look into gears sooner than later. Mine go in this week. Call Rich at radmustangs.com and get the BMR hop kit.

I was leaning toward that, I just wanted to make sure for this car, it would be the right choice. Thanks for the input.
