Would muffler deletes be overkill?

I am considering getting muffler deletes. or LM1. I have an O/r x pipe. Will getting muffler deletes kill performance? will it sound bad?

I have gutted cats and have the exhaust dumping underneath the car. Sounds pretty good. But then again I have a turbo to quiet it down.

Pull off your mufflers and try it out.

I think its way too loud and doesn't sound all that great. But muffler delete is the easies thing to testdrive. Just pull off your mufflers.

An off road x and muffler deletes sounds like hammered shit at ALL times besides WOT, then its just annoyingly loud. Don't do it.

pypes mid muffler! jk they sound sick but the fit is horrible. i would go with stingers. im thinking of switching to them sometime in the future unless i get my pypes to fit right. i've adjusted them 3 times already. seem to be fine for now but something will rattle soon i know it

I would NOT do a flowmaster with an O/R X pipe, they dont sound all that good with x pipes. Both Bassani axle backs will sound nice, so would stingers. Magnaflows sound good too

Oh yea, told you no mufflers would sound like ass lol

i would get the LM's and weld in some resonators or mufflers before the rear end like a midmuffler setup. you could use something like dynomax bullets, kooks, M80's.

Boomtubes are like cleaned up loudmouths not as raspy and have a nice tone... it's just about as little muffler as you can get without being a straight pipe... i have heard LM's and boomtubes and thats what made me choose boomtubes... less raspy but nice tone... and they look cool..

i like the look of not having a square box there.

I think SLP LMs will sound awful with a O/R X pipe. I had SLP LMs with the factory H pipe and it sounded good for the first week because of how loud it was. Than, I realized how bad it really sounded. I went ahead and got a O/R X pipe and welded in a set of Magnaflow Magnapacks as a mid muffler system. It sounds wicked. I'd recommend getting the axleback Magnapacks or Bassani Race mufflers. They both will sound great with the O/R X pipe !!

My friend has that set up w/ FRPP shorty hearders... it sounds like a stock car, but not quite as loud.
