tire size
I don't know much of anything about tires. I want to go a little wider than stock. any advice?

yeah you will need to let everyone know if you will put different wheels on it as well. if not yeah i'd go with the widest tire you can put on the rim

another thing you will need to know is if you want to rotate your tires. if you put a big fat tire in the back and a narrower one in front as i did you will not be able to rotate them. i have an 8.5 wide rim in front with 255/40x18. in the back i have a 9.5 wide rim with 285/40's. looks great, but much much wider than stock. still doesn't stick out past the fenders though.
