That movie is sick! Anyways, for the tech portion of this. That car in the vid has a Techco watts link suspension in the rear. How many people on here have taken their car to the track with a watts-link? How does the car hook with one? I have driven a car with a watts link before and it felt like it was on rails...as far as dead hooking though, I have no clue...

Mickey just forget about it and send me the money you would have normally spent on the watts link.

Nice video but I thought the same thing Pappy. It's looks like the car is built more for the strip than the road course.

I'm not sure how it would affect a drag launch, but the advantage of a watts link is that it wouldn't change the lateral location of the axle relative to the body of the car upon suspension compression/drop, i.e. the chassis isn't gonna get pushed to one side or the other upon launch like it would with a panhard bar.

It seems like it'd keep your weight better balanced across the rear wheels.

That is what I was thinking. I might be putting one on in a few months and want to start taking this car to the strip at least once a month. Ive heard racers are starting to test it out on the strip, Brenspeed started to recently

Would you go with the Fay or one that mounts to the differential cover?

Justin at VMP has been running one on his GT500 for quite a while. It works pretty decent at the 1/4 mile track. The launches look pretty good, it spins but it doesn't track out to the sides.

I f**king love that car... the hood is beautiful. One of the best I've seen. That is the best all around car since the PJ. (That's my all time favorite) Color is nice too.
