You need to perform the window reset procedure detailed in your owner's maual. They get out of sync every now and then.

Well I guess staying down after you close the door is better than staying up when you open the door... Maybe a sensor problem?
Do you manually pull the window up when this happens or has it been cracked open for a while now?

+1 to Grabber

I'm pretty sure that that process is you roll the window down all the way and hold the switch down for 2 seconds, then roll it up all the way and hold the switch for another 2 seconds.

It just started doing it yesterday. When I get in the car and close the door I have to hit the switch myself so it can go up.

+2 - Manual reset time. Try what Red said - if that doesn't work, it's in the manual. I'm just too lazy to go out and get it.

Same thing happened to me. The TSB that I got had me unhook the battery for 5 seconds before doing the window switch thingy.

Glad my windows just work.... from a 12 year old car.

These new procedures are just hilarious.
