2008 bullitt. mods driveshaft,thumpr cams, 410 udp,delete plates shortys 93 brenspeed tune. will be adding o/r h pipe. Already have stingers on. How much louder will it be. Thanks John

Are you sure you want to make your Bullitt sound like a Mustang GT?
Ford spent 10 million dollars to develop the signature sound of the
bullitt ?

LOL. They said the same thing when the new gt came out, and gt500, and kr. I think they mean they have a 10 million dollar facility that gets used to tune the sound of the mustangs, all mustangs. So now in 2010, they will say again, they spent 10 million to make it sound the way it does. And then the modder will spend on average $1000 to change that sound. Do the math on that, mustang exhuast $s = the GDP of a small country.

o/r h pipe, thumpr cams, stingers.......... loud and drone. I couldnt handle the h pipe on my car. To each his own.

H pipes are for guys that want their tame engine to sound mean.

X pipes are for guys that already have mean engines.

oh check it out, saw a shelby rep driving a gt500 supersnake today. Blow by him in the hammer lane on 83 north, he gets in behind me, i drop it to 3rd, he stayed on my ass for a minute and then let off. then he follows me off my exit ramp to tell me since he works for shelby he didnt want to get on it too hard. Then he says man your car sounds amazing do you have a cam in it and what exhuast. I said no, just flows. he laughed and tried to sell me a supercharger kit from shelby, i said man google radmustangs you will have your answer.. LOL, no lie. When you got guys in supersnakes chasin you down you know the x pipe is the shit.

Beautififul car though i love that thing.

I still like my x-pipe(and LT's). I have to wait to put them back in. I have to get it inspected 1st in NY.

Eh, I don't dig x pipes much. I had an x pipe for a year, and finally trashed it for an h. Haven't looked back

I think any cam is going to make the exhaust a little louder. The stingers are already a louder than stock muffler and anytime you add a o/r midpipe you are going to increase sound a bit. The 4.10 gears should get rid of the drone issue. I'll have pretty much the same exhaust and cams setup, except mine will be catted using magnapacks. My friends bullitt with mutha thumprs and o/r x and flowmasters is loud, but some people like loud.
