pretty cool but not $560 cool. I wonder what the gains/throttle response is on it. and how it compares to jsut porting the stock one.

Well IMO the gains from that 62MM TB over a similar one aren't going to be very much(just a few HP difference at the most), which means the power gain difference could not be noted on a dyno nor on the butt dyno. I guess what I'm trying to say is you can't go wrong with any TB (well maybe you can go wrong with the BBK one if any) HP gain wise, its just personal preference.

i think he just installed it, but with the intake manifold at the sametime. so when he gets the dyno numbers tomorrow we really wont be sure how much power he gained... heres where he mentioned it C&L Intake Manifold gains 27HP!!!! But there's a catch.... - Page 2 - WWW.S197FORUM.COM

I read that porting the stock throttle body to 62mm (same as the FRPP) will improve throttle response and have 7-10hp increase. doesnt seem worth it to me.

I have been looking at this thingy for a week and I love it. But I will stick with my GT 500 65mm TB. It is quite nice though.

Looks badass. Just wonder if its worth the upgrade and alot of the tuning issues are resolved somewhat

nah no thx i have the gt500 TB and i rocks on the butt dyno even w/ no tune

i can constintly hear my JLT whistling and freely sucking in a SHITload of air...makes me happy

My friend put his GT500 tb on with no tune...it's been about 9 months with no problems or codes thrown.

Where did you guys get your GT500 tb's at?

FWIW I just sold the new Ford Racing GT500 Throttle body to one of my customers for his GT500 and he picked up 10rwhp. Not bad for a throttle body, but again this was on a GT500 not a Mustang GT. So if you are still N/A I would not expect to see those gains.
