Brake pad recommendation??

Picked up set of GT500/Brembo's 3000mi.(he says). Also sent me the GT500 rear rotors(look the same as what's on my 07 GT.
Question is do I just put them on, or turn rotors(look like new)? Do I change pads, if so what pads do you recommend I get? Ford dealer says rear set up is the same GT500 as GT, only pads are different. What rear pads should I get? Sorry for all questions. Thanks for your help!

no matter what rotors or system you get i recomend Hawk HPS. unless you plan on autocrossing it or something like that. if the rotors look like new they probably dont need turning. take them to a shop you trust and let them look at them, chances are if they only have 3k miles they dont need it.

I got EBC red stuff ceramic pads just the other day and the diff is amazing! night and day.. the pads seem to bite and really stop the car without much pressure on the brake pedal.. And from what i read they dont make as much heat so you wont warp the rotors. I warped the first rotors and replaced them with new stock ones and EBC pads and so far its been a great choice. i def reccomend them

HPS but with more brake dust. If you can remember to drag the brakes before you go out on a night on the town HPS + are the bees knees if you ask me.

EBC RedStuff for me. Silver Foose, wait till you get through the break-in coating and the pads really start to grab.

Where do you get EBC red stuff pads?

So do I just leave the rears alone, my car has 12Kmi, or use the newer GT500rear rotors, which are supposed to be the same, with the upgraded pads?

i got mine from summitracing.com and they will beat any advertised price, so just search for a lowest price online and they will beat it by a dollar. super fast shipping will get it to u in 2 days. I would use the newer rotors so the pads can bed in with them better.

+1 for the EBC brake pads - RED for the street and YELLOW for the track.

To warm the pads up, because they perform like shit when they are cold. Anything HPS + and beyond, if you drive it on the street, you have to drag the brakes . As in, two feet, one on the gas with the other on the brake. Not mashing them but dragging them.

I tried the Hawk HPS+ pads and didn't like them - too noisey on the street and weren't consistent performers on the track (road courses). I think you'll like the EBC pads better on the street and the new EBC Yellows perform better on the track. However, your mileage may vary.
