Rear blackout panel on a black mustang?

Im contemplating puting a CDC blackout panel on my black 06 GT.

Wanna get some opinions on what yall think.

Try this;
go to ponybuilder.com
- select a coupe
- paint it black
- go down to accessories and put on the CDC blackout panel (without the emblem)

Opinions?

The reason im thinking about it is because my front is highly modded and my rear isnt (although my girlfriend says I have a donk ) except for honeycomb on the taillights and black tips

I think it would look good.. Kind of subtle like matte black stripes on a black car..

This is a freakin awesome site.

Sorry I didn't look at your car, but if your lookin for a blackout panel. I really like the one on American Muscle.

SHR Mustang Honeycomb Taillight Panel (05-09) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

I think this one looks really clean and matches the front grills (assuming that your grill is stock)

Later,
Rhoadies

i think you should leave the rear on a black car alone. it looks good as is, to me nothing beats a super clean black car. when the black paint is flawless, its like a black mirror, nothing beats that, no flames, ghost flames or stripes, just flawless black paint w/ a deep gloss finish. the honey comb panel is going to be hard to clean, i hate cleaning the honeycomb grill its a PITA.

My springs are nothing special, just got 'em from Summit. They were just over a hundred bucks and did/do the job just fine. I couldn't see any reason shelling out more, although, at the time I did not know how far the drop was going to be. But man she looks mean and low...well as mean as an otherwise stock tungsten grey mustang can be, lol.

I can't wait to get home to drive my car either, I'll be in Jacksonville all this week and i have a POS PT Cruiser rental car. I need the sound of a pent up V8. I can't believe that I used to think that my 4 banger car sounded good.

Check out my garage for some pics of my ride.

I like the american muscle panel, but the whole part of the CDC panel is to remove the tail emblem, which I think cleans up the rear end of a black car really well...
Plus this one will match the black billet CDC grille im ordering later.

My car looks pretty much like the ones in my garage except she now has black turnsignals in the front, the side markers are now black, and Ive removed the black tailight covers for now since Id like to see how I like it without em.

you should paint the rear badge black but leave the center where it says GT
