SCT Xcal3 Question
Friend has SCT with 3 tunes on it. He is looking to sell it. Can he sell it with the tunes if he returns his car back to stock? Does he need to do anything with it before he sells it? He is looking to sell it with his intake so it is calibrated for the intake.

hold up....
when a tuner sends you a tuner and tunes, it's calibrated to your specific PCM code/type. that could be an issue, but otherwise, you can still use the tunes that are on the tuner but he will have to reload one of them cuz you have to have the 'stock tune' loaded to return the pcm to stock..... was that confusing at all? |

If its a SF3 (3015) or an older x3 (3000) and he flashes it back to stock you can use the preloaded tunes if you have very minor modifications.

Any X3 devices made before 07/25/08 will have preloaded tunes and can be updated to the latest tune revision. Check the serial number, it won't be hard to figure out which of those numbers are the device's birthday.
