What do you think was the change?

So 2 weekends ago I went to a dyno day at Shop 1 who uses a dynojet, the weather was a bit humid, temperatures were great, and it started to drizzle about an hour before I got to do my pulls, car put down 388/344.

Two days ago I go to a dyno day at Shop 2, they also use a dynojet, day was gorgeous, temps stayed pretty low, maybe 5-10 degrees warmer than the previous dyno day, humidity was almost non existant. The car put down 430/368 then 426/381, then they let it sit and cool for about 10 minutes and it ran 447/397.

So my question to you is, what do you think was the 1 thing I did to the car in those 2 weeks to net that change?

Either cleaned the air filter or changed the fuel filter. That and loosing the humidity which actually lowers the density altitude.

temp and air density will make a difference, but dang, thats alot! sounds like a difference in the correction factor used...

lol, same correction factors, so far as I can tell there was no difference between the two parameters used on the dyno's. I was dumbfounded as well, I don't know if the shop 2 dyno reads high and shop 1 reads low or what, the ONLY thing I did to the car between the 2 dynos, was to unplug the battery for a couple hours while working on a little paint project on my steeda battery box. I didn't think the adaptive learning would have THAT big of a difference! I know the humidity had a large part in it though, it's noticeable at the track when it's moist out compared to later in the evening with cooler air.

Nope, no illicit dealings, the guy in front of me even dyno'd right about where I guessed he would too. I did notice that shop #1's dyno day had a lot of cars that dyno'd a bit lower than I would have guessed them at, not by a lot, but some cars I expected to see hit 400 were only hitting 380-390ish.

and here's the dyno from shop #1:

I'll have to take a digital pic of my new dyno and post it up later

This is all conjecture until I see some proof...

You shouldn't be spreading around the trade secrets like this...
