I read a similar article about the Viper conversion kit in a Mustang mag I have somewhere around here, and it had nothing but good things to say about it.

Viper Box Ratios:
Final Drive 3.07:1
1st Gear Ratio 2.66:1
2nd Gear Ratio 1.78:1
3rd Gear Ratio 1.3:1
4th Gear Ratio 1:1
5th Gear Ratio 0.74:1
6th Gear Ratio 0.5:1

Mustang Tremec 3650 5-Speed Manual Ratios:
1st Gear Ratio: 3.34:1
2nd Gear Ratio: 2.00:1
3rd Gear Ratio: 1.32:1
4th Gear Ratio: 1.00:1
5th Gear Ratio: 0.68:1

I will consider this swap myself after my warranty runs out, or I win the lottery. lol

It all depends on what you use your car for.If I didn't have to use mine as a daily driver in the summer and it was strictly a toy, I would not give a rats ass about the warranty, and just mod the shit out of it.So until mine runs out, I'll keep her mostly stock, save for your basic CAI & Exhaust, and a suspension upgrade, and when the warranty's done in a couple years I'll go nuts. It all depends on how you use your car and what you are into and can afford. Rick

yeah i think this might be something to really look into for me... a twin turbo set up with this trans would make for some interessting runs....

wondering how the top end would be vs rpms... cant wait to see the look of the BMW M3 driver as i blow his doors off on the autobahn...
