A $1,000 part that doesnt work!
I know you guys havent heard from me in a while but I've got an update and a gripe. Been deployed since Jan. and will be getting back to the U.S at the end of the week. Since I've been gone my car has undergone some major surgery from a 6 point install (which I posted on a while back), an SOS center guage cluster and various guages, last but not least a 9 inch swap. The 9 inch swap has hands down been the biggest issue. I purchased Some billet specialties 15 inchers and the appropriate spacers to make them work, well something with the 9 inch just wasnt going to let it happen. Thus my guys custom fabbed some brackets to fit 94 GT rear brakes and now voila, 15 inchers fit without any spacers, fantastic! Well the 9 inch swap also dictated a longer driveshaft, well I took this oppurtunity to get the best there was to offer and had Dynotech custom build a carbon fiber piece costing over a grand. Well they wrapped up everything last night, FINALLY, and went to take the car for a drive and everything worked flawlessy save for the freekin driveshaft which is free spinning on the yoke on the differential end!!!!!!! So here I am coming home in less than a week and the thing I'm most excited about coming home to cant be driven because the "absolute best part available for this application" doesnt fucking work! Well there is a 12 hour time diff where I am but I called and left them an earful and will call again when I know they're open. Bottom line is they'll be covering redline express shipping charges to and from them and will have the problem sorted out and sent back to FL before I get down there the holiday weekend. OR maybe just maybe its something as simple as going to the hardware store and buying some bad ass epoxy to secure the damn thing. I dont know. Ok so end rant, thanks for reading if you took the time.

No pics unfortunately. Guys doing the build didnt think to send any to me. Talked to Dynotech earlier and they were sympathetic to the situation and are going to do everything they can to get it up and running ASAP
