just installed new sunny tires sn3800!!

I found these tires online and got a set of 255/45/18 for 437 shipped!! figSunny Tire, USAured i would give them a try.. Ive only put a few miles on them so far (about 30) at first they kinda squeaked but i think it was just the new tire surface. i've given a few good launches and they seem to be getting better as they warm up a little.. after i put the 4.10s in my old kuhmo excsta's spun pretty bad
1st to second.. these tires seem to grip pretty well but when they do break lose they kinda bark alot louder than my previous tires. So far so good I'll keep u guys updated after i put a few more miles on them!

well i've put about 600 miles on the tires so far and im very impressed! these tires are def worth the money.. The straight line traction is good but not great, going around corners is were they excel.. high speed stabilty is awesome.. ive taken them up to 150 no problems. They also have a built in rim protector.. im going to try and get some pics up as soon as possible

your problem with the tires isn't going to be now... it's going to be in about 5-10K when they have a lot of tread left and they are cracking because of the cheap rubber. I see it everyday, there is a reason they are so cheap.

oh god. why would you put anything Chinese made on a mustang? Let alone an item that puts your well being in jeopardy such as tires?

most dipshits in this world think the only differance between differant tires is price. you pay more for a name brand or they think all tires are the same quality, you just pay more for a tire that is supposed to last longer... obviously a few of these people drive mustangs.

Hey silver2006foose, how are the SN3800's wearing in.. have you put more miles on them since your last post?
I've done a lot of research on these tires and the consensus from reviewers and individuals who've purchased them is they're decent tires, a steal for the price.

I may purchase four 255/35/20's soon and see how they hold up.
Clearly some people will talk trash about them because they're imported tires, however many tires sold are imported and they don't know it.
Juco from Discount Tire obviously has negative things to say but I don't think he has run them himself. However the concern over Chinese rubber quality is real.. manufacturers in China cheap out and I've seen rubber that chunks because it has no elasticity. I have not seen this company's tires do that. There are MANY Chinese tire manufacturers, Sunny is one of the larger ones and their quality seems to be similar to some domestic brands.

A long term test is what we need. I may help out with that test given the price of the ones I looked at.

i don't have to run them, i see them on cars and see how bad they are everyday. nobody said there was anything wrong with imported tires. My car has never had an american tire on it. Chinese tires however are junk. There is a reason they are so cheap and it isn't because people don't know about them.
