Spec!

Just got off of the phone with SPEC. They have my clutch and they told me there is nothing wrong with it! The guy is supposed to call me back after he checks out a few more things... This is rediculous.

Had problems with Spec, as it turned out I just didn't choose to use them for the proper application. They work well in the following applications pictured.

well after the other "tests" SPEC said that there is in fact nothing at all that they can find wrong with the clutch. they will be sending it back to me rebuilt as a stage 3 - and cleaning everything up.

Next up is trying to get the original shop that installed it to pay for the labor - that is the only other way I can try and recoup some of this expense, and the only other reason this clutch could have been slipping.

we'll see what happens next week when I can start making some calls...

How long did you have the clutch in and what was it doing? I know this wont go over well but i have the spec stage I. First few days I hated it but after a little breaking in i have no complaints, seems to hold at the track no issue on the street. I have sold two spec stage IIIs now and those guys have no complaints.

I had the clutch in for 4 months - went through the break in period. It never held at all and it was a 2+

I had it in the car long enough for it to have had plenty of time to seat.
