brake parts... ford vs aftermarket

Optional antilock brakes bundled with traction control worth the extra cash?

i hear about everyone upgrading brakes pretty much asap, can this still be done with this option?

The Mustang comes standard with antilock & T/C, and yes brake upgrades can still be done

if I could remove on thing on my brake system it would be anti-lock. I hate it !! Learn how to brake. This feature was designed for people that cant drive. Soccer moms !

yeah, im trying to do everything right this time and limit and buyer's remorse that i dealt with my last car/project....

i bought a 1998 honda prelude sh pretty much fully loaded... before the big aftermarket world kicked in for hondas...

i ran into some problems of some of the options i had in my car limiting my aftermarket options... for example, the prelude sh had a really nice computer controlled sport handling feature, but once you starting adding more HP and TQ the system would "think the tires were slipping" and try to correct. the only way to fix this was to pull the systems fuse.... and then you had no traction control, no lsd available, and a 3,000 dollar option gone to waste.... then you throw in weak ringlands in the stock block that would kill the motor at even 5-8 psi and well ... it just killed my project... and that was only around the 200-280 hp mark....

damn that sucked.... still love the car for what it is though... but it will be sold to fund this project...

Yes, I've always loved the ludes. even back in the mid 80's. Really fun to drive. Felt like sitting on the ground. I had an 86 and a 90 w/4ws.

AFC, if you order any GT and load it up, it's going to come ready to go.All you have to do is get the colors you want right, and you have a ride that is absolutely amazing bone stock, and beyond even that when modded. I can never, ever, get tired of driving around in mine just listening to it and feeling the tightness of the car. When you get it, you will understand.Might sound like 'm being melodramatic about the car, but ask any one of these guys what the car is like to drive.Just stick every frickin option in it, pick your color & wheels, and you will love the ever lovin' shit out of it, I promise you.
