Front suspension??

i have a clunk/rattle under my front end when i hit bumps. it has gotten progressively worse throught out the day. i got the bullit strut caps and put them on the other day, and it started after that. at first i though it might be that but now it seems worse, and ive looked under the hood at them and they seem to clear the hood fine. anyone else had any noise from the front suspension? or have any sugestions on what it might be? thanks in advance

Yes it should be covered under warranty unless you have more than 36,000/50,000 miles.

Nasty is right I would take that bitch in and keep taking it in till they fix it ( might take a few times , most of those techs suck at least at my local dealer)

hmm. i had a clunking after I installed my springs. It was a loose front sway bar end link. You could try checking that? maybe it came loose for whatever reason.

Other then it working itself loose......

You have to unhook the end link to take off the strut to install the new spring. So more then likey it wasnt tightened on reinstallation.

I tried the taking it in method while under warranty, but they still wouldn't do it even though they quoted the TSB on it...buncha jerks. I'm still driving on mine and they shut up after a few thousand miles...probably destroyed, but not worried until something comes loose! Heh. I'm upgrading suspension soon, so I'll change 'em then.

The end links have been mentioned, but I did not see anything about the strut towers. If your car is still under warranty, they should cover it. the TSB just tells the technician how to fix the problem.

I had the same clunking problem and took it to the dealer. They intially thought it was end links also, but in the end it was the strut towers. there is a TSB out on that also.

my clunking actually did come from the bullitt strut caps, i took them off and it stopped, put them back on and it started agian. so i decided not to put them on unless im at a show, sucks to have to put them on and off but no clunk and it looks good when i have the hood up
