Roush Supercharger

Hey everyone. i've got a question and I don't know if its a dumb one at that. As we speak my 2006 vert gt is at our local ford dealership getting a roush s/c among some other goodies. The roush is advertised to add 115hp at 5psi. My question is can the roush s/c's psi be increased to add hp?

All chargers & turbos can have the psi upped, it's up to you how much stress you want to put on the motor

swap the pulley out for a smaller one but make sure you get it tuned for it.

I think you'll find that roushcharger keeps you happy for a while. I've had mine for 6000 miles and I'm finally getting used to what to expect. You need to know how it will act on different types of pavement. I've hit 2nd hard on the wrong pavement and fishtailed so bad that I saw both ditches twice before being able to straighten it out ( I actually enjoy that sort of thing). Now I'm real comfortable that I can control the power and am ready for more so I'm planning to get a dyno tune on it as soon as I can find time to do it. You gotta figure and realize this....your car will be at least a second faster in the quarter mile than the legendary Boss429 was stock. You will definately be driving a muscle car and you gotta have respect for what it can do and be careful not to hurt yourself or anybody else. Congrats on the mod and let us know how it feels. Norm

Roush is coming out with a H.O. kit or add on to the current intercooled kits very shortly in the middle of march, that will boost it up to 450hp.
