OD off light flashing

1st post here. Have been ghosting on this site for 6-8 months now. Wanted to know if anyone had any insight into a problem I'm having.

First off I have a 2006 mustang GT auto convertible. I recently had the following mods performed: CAI, FRPP shorties, x-pipe, FRPP GT exhaust, FRPP high lift hot rod cams, FRPP 3.73 gears, and a custom dyno tune.

I drove around and played with the car for a while. The got a OD off flashing warning light. Then got a horrible sounding shift as i was pulling into my neighborhood. Babied it into the dealership the next morning and they replaced the tranny solenoid body. Got it back and drove it for about 3 weeks with no issues. I pulled into work this morning and got a OD off flashing warning light again. The dyno sheet numbers were 390/460 which were plotted against MPH (never seen anything like it.) I also can't believe the numbers are legit with the tunes.

Any info or insight would be apprieciated.

Thx,

I think its either the tune or something not installed right.

i would agree on the tune end since it seems to be an electrical problem.

I would think hot rod cams would be a little aggressive for 3.73s and a stock converter.

Talked to the tuner at AZ dyno chip. He was very cool about it and he wants to look at it. He seems to have a good idea on what is going on. He went in depth on the phone (lost me for a while ) about how the 5R55S shifts and speculated that it might be doing a hard downshift. Going in next Tuesday. If I learn anything, I'll post it.

The dyno numbers are also incorrect (390/460). He said those were based on peak values at shift points. I should get the correct file on Tuesday as well.

I'm curious what issue this setup might cause. What are your thoughts?

Had issues with the mustang last night. Exited the freeway, made a right hand turn after sitting at the light. Car had very little acceleration and the maintenance light came on. Same thing happened two weeks ago which is why i took it into the dealer resulting in the solenoid body being replaced. No crunchy shifts this time though. I believe it was in "safe mode". Got home and parked it for a while. Took it out and accelerated through most of the gears a couple of times with no issues. SCT tuner didn't read any codes. Still waiting for Tuesday.

went to the tuner on tuesday. the car isn't throwing any codes right now so he doesn't have much to work with. He gave me a tune with a new shift schedule. I loaded it and tried it that night but got the service light and safe mode again. Seems to happen after I exit a freeway. Mabye its operator error

i'm starting to wonder if driving style has something to do with it. Keith at ADC knowledge on the car was pretty impressive. The issue is hit or miss. Sometimes i can beat on the car with no problems. Other times I cruise the freeway, mabye a couple good accelerations, cruise the offramp and get the service light safe mode special.
