Fast Toys 4" slant cut Muffler tips

I put the slant cut 4" fast toy tips on my car today. It turned out they were only .06" larger then stock. The outside diameter of the stock tips narrows as it gets closer to the muffler, so they need to be welded to the wider portion of the tip.

The one thing that was immediately obvious when test fitting was that the stock tips needed to be cut. Otherwise, they could be plainly visible when looking down the muffler.

I agree, the 4" tips look are a big plus over the stock tips. Is it necessary to pull the mufflers to cut and weld...probably safer huh!

Personally, I'm happy with the sound of the stock mufflers. I have a convertible and don't want the exhaust any louder then it allready is. It's hard enough having a conversation in the car with the top down so a louder exhaust is not that appealing.

Besides, from everything I've read, there is not much horse power to be gained by changing the mufflers. The only thing that changing the mufflers will accomplish is a more aggressive sound and better looking exhaust tips. The Faast Toys tips give me the best of both worlds.
