Techco ported S/C, CAI & tune...AWESOME!

As the title suggests, I just picked up my 2006 Saleen s/c from Techco after having them port the blower, install their CAI kit & re-tune the car to their specs. The car was previously tuned by a highly respected local tuner and a canned tune prior to that...both giving me great results. As this car is my d/d, the previous tune got me 438rwhp & 404rwtq on an AUTOMATIC trans. At the suggestion of Carlos Duran of Techco, we removed my old C&L CAI and the GT500 throttle body,replacing it with Techco's CAI and the Stock t.b (GT500 T.B & new CAI wouldn't allow hood to close due to the t.b. spacer). My new #'s are 490rwhp & 480rwtq. on a conservative tune as well. Equally impressive is how the guy's at Techco were able to reprogram the trans shift points to near perfection that the previous tunes were unable to achieve. There is ABSOLUTELY no lag on acceleration and downshifting! Needless to say, I am truly impressed on how Techco was able to bring this car up to what is was meant to be (IMHO) and if any of you are considering these upgrades, you owe it to yourself to give Carlos or Ned a call.

How much boost were you running before the port and how much are you running now

+50hp and almost 80tq from the porting, intake, and retune? pretty impressive.

I was running 10lbs boost for both dyno runs before and after.

So you also dropped down a pulley size with the other changes.

Good numbers....

I made 423hp 401tq with Saleen's stock tune and there 475HP kit. That's 6psi.

edit: No blower work and factory GT exhaust.

Using a 12% correction factor that equates to 480 crank HP. That's 5 HP off from what Brenspeed advertisies. Wow that's really close.

No. Same pulley for both tunes and subsequent dyno pulls. Prior to Saleen leaving So.Cal., they swapped out the pulley and did some upgrades for me to get it somewhere between the 475hp upgrade & the 550.

No sir, it is not direct form Techco. Thats a promise, if it is ok i will post dyno chart only?

No I am not affiliated with Techco in any way. I' m a dentist in So. Cal. who believes that praise is due when it's earned.

couldnt you have used the gt500tb without the spacer? arent the spacers pointless or am i wrong
